Why ?

• You want to enroll in a course but you are not sure of your level.
• You want to register for a French exam but you don't know if you have the right level.

Warning: Ev@lang is a non-certifying test, which does not replace an official exam. It serves as an indication for the level.

For who ?

For all learners registering for the first time at the French Institute in Qatar, except if you are an absolute beginner.

For adults, teenagers, pre-teens and children, in order to be able to direct them to the course best suited to their level.

Adults take the test in two parts: one part on the computer with the Ev@lang software, then an interview with a teacher to check the oral level.

The other audiences only have an oral interview, which can be supplemented if necessary by small written tasks, depending on the level.

How ?

By booking an appointment in advance with the reception of the French Institute of Qatar: info@if-qatar.com to reserve a slot for the part on the computer (also possible from home) and the interview with the teacher (also possible online, on Zoom) :

1 hour for an adult test (40 minutes for the online part and 20 minutes of interview) and on average 20-25 minutes for other audiences.

How much ? ?

100 QR for adults

50 QAR for teens/kids
