Documentary screening: “Invisible Essence, Little Prince” Charles Officer

The French Embassy of Qatar in partnership with the FASJE and the MIA are organising a documentary screening of The Little Prince.

To celebrate the record achieved by the Museum of Islamic Art on October 12 for the most languages used in a reading relay, a documentary film is scheduled at the Auditorium of the MIA on 4th November. The film “Invisible Essence, The Little Prince” by Charles Officer (2018), is about the French author, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and his masterpiece.

It explores the global legacy of The Little Prince seventy-five years after the story’s initial publication. Featuring conversations with filmmaker Mark Osborne, author Adam Gopnik, biographer Stacy Schiff, and a host of other engaging voices, the film reveals how Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s modern-day fable conveys an ethical philosophy of life and a code of respect for humanity. 90th Parallel Productions & Canesugar Filmworks; distributed by The Orchard.
