Documentary screening: « Invisible Essence, Little Prince » Charles Officer
The French Embassy of Qatar in partnership with the FASJE and the MIA are organising a documentary screening of The Little Prince.
To celebrate the record achieved by the Museum of Islamic Art on October 12 for the most languages used in a reading relay, a documentary film is scheduled at the Auditorium of the MIA on 4th November. The film « Invisible Essence, The Little Prince » by Charles Officer (2018), is about the French author, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and his masterpiece.
It explores the global legacy of The Little Prince seventy-five years after the story’s initial publication. Featuring conversations with filmmaker Mark Osborne, author Adam Gopnik, biographer Stacy Schiff, and a host of other engaging voices, the film reveals how Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s modern-day fable conveys an ethical philosophy of life and a code of respect for humanity. 90th Parallel Productions & Canesugar Filmworks; distributed by The Orchard.
