DESCRIPTION:With the Paris 2024 Olympics Games approaching\, the Embassy of
  France to Qatar with the French Institute of Qatar would like to celebrat
 e women and sports. Great female athletes have been able to assert themsel
 ves in and through sport\, leading a whole generation to follow their path
 .\n\nNadia Nadim is one such inspiring personality. A professional footbal
 ler as well as a doctor\, she is a significant example of empowered women.
  Both a former superstar of the Paris Saint-Germain women's team and an en
 gaged woman\, Nadia Nadim has become an icon.\n\nDirected by French direct
 or Anissa Bonnefont\, "Nadia" is a documentary film released in 2021 about
  the unique journey of Nadia Nadim. As a young Afghan girl\, Nadia was for
 ced to leave Afghanistan at the age of eight with her mother and her four 
 sisters. Growing up with her family in Denmark as a refugee\, Nadia was pa
 ssionate about football. She went on to play for the Danish national team\
 , as well as joined Paris Saint-Germain's women's team where she won the 2
 020-2021 French championship.\n\nFollowing the screening\, a Q&amp\;A sess
 ion will take place online with the director Anissa Bonnefont and a panel 
 discussion on women in sports moderated by Mrs Leila Smati\, sports journa
 list in the presence of :\n\n- Mrs Dowana Ismail Khalifa\, professional fo
 otball player and coach\n\n- Mrs Nada Mohamed Wafa Arakji\, Olympic swimme
 r\n\n- Mrs Nada Zeidan\, archer and rally driver \n\nwe look forward to we
